Edited and Final Front Cover
When looking at the feedback for my front cover it came to my attention that some said the background was quite plain. This made me think that having too much of a plain background was making my magazine look bland and wouldn't attract as many people to buy it. Plus as it is the front cover it is the first thing that the audience/customers see, they need to be interested in the magazine to want to buy it.
I have edited my front cover by adding some splash effects of colour from the brushes tool in what I feel are suitable watercolours and make my model stand out a lot and also take away the plainness of the previous background. I also didn't like the layout of the previous edition of the magazine once the colour was added therefore I removed the text boxes and made the layout more like Billboard magazine with the '+' sign and coverlines all on one side of the page. Due to the change of page design it means that I haven't stuck to my flat plan therefore I have made another one and will also add that in the next post. Although I haven't stuck to my original front cover flat plan I have changed it for the interest of the audience and what they would like to see, which overall would make my cover better and more interesting.

Front Cover Feedback
This is the feedback I received from my class regarding my magazine front cover. Overall it was positive feedback but constructive comments were also added.
People liked the main image I used and the colour scheme I went with. The font was also appreciated. One of the constructive criticisms was that my page looked a bit plain, I appreciated the comment but as my magazine inspiration came from Billboard magazine I didnt want it to be too crowded, (image below).

Magazine Front Cover
Above is my final design for the front cover of my music magazine, I have shown the changes I have made to my magazine before my final piece. Those images are shown smaller than my final image. I like the layout of my final front cover and think it looks really clear and nice to look at. I feel that it would look attractive on the shelf of a store as

Pitch Peer Feedback
I received a lot of feedback regarding my pitch. The constructive feedback will help me throughout the making process of my magazine. The feedback suggests that people thing I am very well organised, especially when it comes to my photoshoot and the model. My colour scheme and fonts were also liked. This suggests to me that if I use what I explained in my pitch, such as the colour scheme etc, in my magazine that it will be liked by my target audience, meaning it would sell if it was on shelves.
I also added some images to my pitch.

This is the image that I have edited and will be used in my magazine.:
I chose this image as it was the clearest and the models were all smiling which is what I wanted as they are a boyband.

Model's Makeup for Photoshoot
I will be doing a bronze/gold makeup look on my model, this is because the bronze and gold look gives the effect of wealthiness and importance. This along with the black dress will make my model look expensive and celebrity like which is what i'm wanting for the front cover of my magazine. I will be doing to make up on the model as I have a keen interest in makeup and makeup artistry. I have asked my model to bring along her own makeup in addition to some of mine. I will be using the models mascara as this will prevent any spreading of germs through the applicator.
Model's Outfit for Photoshoot
I decided that I am going to be dressing my model in a black bodycon dress that will show off her figure and look classy and stylish due to it being knee length and black. Although it is most likely going to be a medium shot I will have some black wedges for the model to wear incase I want a full body shot. She will be wearing a thick gold chain necklace as a statement piece of jewelry as this is what alot of celebrities tend to do. My model has dark blonde long hair which is naturally wavy, this is perfect for the look. I added some celebrities to the right of my outfit who have worn black bodycon dresses. Those are Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Jesy Nelson all of which are very famous in the pop music industry.
